Triumph Street Triple RS recalled for switchgear issue

Triumph Motorcycle India has recalled the Street Triple RS in India for a switchgear issue. It has been found that water can enter the left side module housing the indicator and main beam switches causing them to fail.

Approximately 100 Street Triple RS bikes sold in India have been diagnosed with this issue. Triumph will be getting in touch with owners of the affected motorcycles through their dealerships. Owners can also check if their bike is among the recalled batch by entering the vehicle identification number (VIN) on Triumph India's website.

In India, the Triumph Street Triple RS is priced at Rs. 11.13 lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by a 765cc, in-line 3-cylinder engine that produces 121.2 BHP @ 11,700 rpm and 77 Nm @ 10,800 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
