Toyota Land Cruiser facelift spotted ahead of launch

The Toyota Land Cruiser facelift has been spotted at a Japanese port.

The updated Land Cruiser comes with a redesigned chrome grille with a chrome bar in the centre. The SUV has twin-pod headlights and a new dual-tone front bumper with a chrome insert. It also comes with side steps and a sunroof.

On the inside, the Land Cruiser is expected to get a digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment head-unit and features such as wireless charging and driver assistance systems.

At present, the Land Cruiser is offered with a 4.5-litre V8 engine. This engine could be replaced with a turbocharged 6-cylinder engine. The SUV could also get a hybrid powertrain option.

The updated Land Cruiser is believed to be the last of the current generation model. It is rumoured to be called the 'Final Edition'.
