Toyota Express Service facility inaugurated in Bangalore

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. has inaugurated its first Toyota Express Service (TES) outlet in southern India at Ravindu Toyota Express Service, Bangalore.

The facility is spread over 10,000 sq. ft. and has four express maintenance bays, which the company claims can service 45 units a day.

The facility will function according to Toyota's EM60 (Express Maintenance 60) module. With the TES concept, Toyota aims to reduce the turn-around time of servicing a vehicle using sophisticated equipment, perfect ergonomy, synchronising processes and eliminating stagnation amidst them. The facility is located close to a full-fledged Toyota dealership which supports it with a supply of parts. Vehicles that are serviced at TES get an "eco wash", which Toyota claims makes them appear better than those washed conventionally, with water.  While the vehicle is being attended to, the customer can spend time relaxing at the facility.

This is the second TES facility in the country. The first one was inaugurated in New Delhi in December 2013. More TES outlets are expected to be set up in key metro cities.
