Tata Motors has sold 85,000 units of the Zest compact sedan and to celebrate this milestone the company has launched a special edition model. The Zest Premio comes with a diesel engine is on sale from March 1, 2018. It is priced at Rs. 7.53 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Zest Premio is offered in two colour options - Titanium Grey and Platinum Silver. It comes with a dual tone roof in gloss black and piano black ORVMs. At the front, it gets smoked headlamps and dual-tone bumper with fog lamps. There is a piano black boot lid garnish and a Premio badge. A piano black boot lip spoiler is available as an optional accessory. The Zest Premio also gets a blacked-out B-pillar, body-coloured door handles and silver wheel covers.
On the inside, the special edition Zest gets a tan coloured dashboard trim and ConnectNext touchscreen infotainment system by Harman. It has integrated phone-based apps with navigation. Additionally, it gets fabric seat covers with contrast stitching, tan highlights and Premio branding.
The Zest Premio is powered by a 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 74 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 190 Nm of torque @ 1,750-3,000 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Standard safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and cornering stability control (CSC).
