Tata Nexon XM (S) variant with electric sunroof launched

Tata Motors has launched a new variant of the Nexon called the XM (S). It is priced from Rs. 8.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Nexon XM (S) comes equipped with an electric sunroof, and is said to be the most affordable model in the segment with this feature. The crossover also gets automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers and steering mounted controls. Besides these, features offered in the XM variant have been retained which include, ConnectNext infotainment system by Harman, multi-drive modes - Eco, City and Sport, Hill Hold Control, Electronic Stability Program and dual front airbags.

The Nexon XM (S) is available with both petrol and diesel engines and comes with an optional automated manual transmission (AMT). It uses a 1.2-litre, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 118 BHP and 170 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 108 BHP and 260 Nm. Both engines are offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automated manual.

The Nexon facelift was launched in January this year. Later, Tata Motors had also introduced the XZ+ (S) variant.
