Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the Nexon facelift in the Indian market. The car will receive several changes both inside and out. It is likely to be offered in four trims: Smart, Pure, Creative and Fearless.
According to a recent report, the base 'Smart' trim will be equipped with features like LED headlamps & DRLs, LED tail lights, 16-inch steel wheels, a 2-spoke steering wheel, manual HVAC and a 4-inch digital instrument cluster. 6 airbags and ESP will be offered as standard across all variants.
The 'Smart+' trim will get rear power windows, electric ORVMs, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 4 speakers and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. This variant is also said to get steering-mounted controls and voice commands.
The 'Pure+' variant could get automatic full-LED headlamps and LED tail lamps with an LED light bar, 16-inch wheels with wheel caps, roof rails, a dual-tone dashboard and rear AC vents.
Features like sequential turn indicators, rear wiper and washer, and 16-inch alloy wheels are expected to be offered in the 'Creative' trim. It could also get a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a rearview camera, TPMS, automatic climate control, auto-dimming IRVM, cooled glove box and height-adjustable driver's seat. The automatic version is likely to come with paddle shifters as well.
Besides the aforementioned features, the 'Creative+' variant could be offered with front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, cruise control, auto-folding ORVMs and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The top-spec 'Fearless' trim could get fog lamps with a cornering function, a rear defogger, a wireless charger, an air purifier, a front centre armrest and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. While a premium sound system with a subwoofer, leatherette upholstery, a 10.25-inch touchscreen with connected car tech and OTA updates will be part of the 'Fearless+' package.
