Mahindra Thar Roxx awarded 5 stars by Bharat NCAP

The Thar Roxx AX5L and MX3 variants were used for the crash safety evaluation.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx has been awarded a 5-star rating by Bharat NCAP. The SUV scored 31.09 for adult occupant protection and 45 points for child occupant safety.

In the frontal offset barrier test, the Thar Roxx offered good protection to the head, neck and upper legs of the driver and passenger. It offered adequate protection to the chest and lower legs of the driver.

The Thar Roxx offered good protection to the occupants in the side movable barrier and side pole impact tests.

Bharat NCAP used two variants of the Thar Roxx for its crash safety evaluation: AX5L and MX3. The SUV comes equipped with front airbags, side head curtain airbags, side chest and side pelvis airbags as standard. It also has seat belt pretensioners and load-limiters, seat belt reminder, ESC, and ISOFIX.
