Tata Nexon EV Max & Nexon EV Prime Jet Editions launched

The Nexon EV Jet Edition is available in a new dual-tone colour scheme of Earthy Bronze and Platinum Silver.

Tata Motors has launched the "Jet Editions" of the Nexon EV Max and Nexon EV Prime, with prices starting at Rs. 17.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Nexon EV Jet Edition is available in a new dual-tone colour scheme of Earthy Bronze and Platinum Silver. The electric SUV comes equipped with 16-inch diamond-cut Jet Black alloy wheels.

Inside, the Jet Edition gets Oyster White upholstery with a Techno-Steel Bronze dashboard mid-pad and Piano Black trims. In terms of equipment, the EV gets an electric sunroof, Jeweled control knob and ventilated front seats.

The Nexon EV Max uses a 40.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that offers an ARAI-certified range of 437 km on a single charge (under standard testing conditions). It powers a permanent magnet synchronous AC motor that has an output of 141 BHP and 250 Nm, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 9 seconds.

The Nexon EV Max comes with either a 3.3 kW charger or a 7.2 kW AC fast charger. The latter can recharge the vehicle in 6.5 hours. The car can also be recharged from 0-80% in just 56 minutes using a 50 kW DC fast charger.

The Nexon EV Prime comes with Multi-Mode Regen, Cruise Control, Indirect Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (iTPMS), Smartwatch integrated connectivity features and Charging Timeout of 110 seconds. It uses a 127 BHP electric motor that is powered by a 30.2 kWh battery pack that is claimed to offer a maximum range of 312 km (ARAI certified).
