According to a media report, MG plans to launch the Mifa 9 MPV in the Indian market next year. The car will be presented at the Bharat Mobility Expo in January 2025, before going on sale in March.
The MG Mifa 9 was first showcased in India at the 2023 Auto Expo. It’s a premium MPV that is expected to rival the Kia Carnival in India. That being said, the Mifa 9 dwarfs the Carnival in terms of proportions. It comes in 7- and 8-seater configurations with ottoman seats.
The Mifa 9 features a split headlamp setup with the LED daytime running light stretching across the front fascia. At the rear, the MPV gets V-shaped LED taillights with a light bar in the centre. It gets powered sliding rear doors as well.
The Mifa 9 comes with 2.0-litre petrol and diesel mild-hybrid engines, which drive the front wheels. There’s also a pure-electric version, which is powered by a 90 kWh battery offering a range of 440 km.
