Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition could be on the cards

This will be just a cosmetic update and no mechanical changes are expected.

Given the success of the Harrier Dark Edition, Tata Motors is said to replicate the same strategy for other models in its line-up. According to a report, the Nexon EV is likely to be next in line to get the 'Dark Edition' treatment.

It is said that the Nexon EV Dark Edition is likely to be offered in the Altas Black exterior colour. The EV will get smoked tail lamps and black alloy wheels. The interior of the Dark Edition is expected to be an all-black affair featuring black seats, door pads and a black dashboard.

This will be just a cosmetic update and no mechanical changes are expected. The Nexon EV will continue to be offered with a 30.2 kWh battery pack powering an electric motor that produces 127 BHP and 245 Nm.

The car has an ARAI certified maximum range of 312 km on a single charge (MIDC cycle). It has fast charging capability and can be charged to 80% of its capacity using a DC fast charger in 1 hour. Using a standard AC charger, it takes 8-9 hours to charge to 100%.
