Skoda has taken the wraps off the 'vRS' version of its second-generation Kodiaq SUV.
The new Skoda Kodiaq vRS gets a bunch of styling upgrades, both to its exterior and interior. This includes a blacked-out radiator grille, black mirror caps, a black upper window frame, and roof rails. The Kodiaq RS also comes standard with an illuminated grille, 20-inch alloys with red brake calipers and eight exterior colour options.
Inside, Skoda carries forward the black theme, with an all-black cabin with red contrast stitching. The Kodiaq is offered with two interior trim options: RS Suedia or RS Suite. Other details include a 13-inch infotainment screen and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster carried over from the standard model.
Coming to the powertrain itself, the second-generation Skoda Kodiaq RS comes with a more powerful version of the 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine. It produces 261 BHP and 400 Nm, sending power to all four wheels via a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. Skoda claims the Kodiaq RS can sprint from 0 - 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 231 km/h.
