Tata Altroz Racer gets a discount of Rs 65,000 for the first time

The Altroz Racer is available in three variants: R1, R2 and R3, with prices starting at Rs 9.49 lakh.

Tata Motors is offering discounts on the Altroz Racer for the first time since it was launched in June this year. The carmaker is said to be offering benefits worth Rs 65,000 on the hot hatchback.

The Altroz Racer is available in three variants: R1, R2 and R3. The same benefits are available across all variants. These include a cash discount and exchange or scrappage bonus.

The Altroz Racer is positioned at the top of the Altroz line-up. It has a sporty exterior with a black bonnet, roof and rear hatch, a black spoiler, ORVMs and matching alloy wheels.

Inside, the Altroz Racer comes equipped with several new features, including a 360-degree camera, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The top-spec R3 variant gets ventilated front seats, an air purifier and iRA-connected car tech.

The Tata Altroz Racer is powered by the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. It produces 118 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 170 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
