Skoda Slavia interior revealed through design sketch

The Skoda Slavia is based on the MQB A0-IN platform that is shared with the Kushaq.

Skoda has released a design sketch showing the interior of the upcoming Slavia mid-size sedan.

The dashboard design of the Skoda Slavia is similar to the Kushaq, except it has round AC vents on either side. The centre console looks familiar with floating touchscreen infotainment head-unit.

The Slavia gets Skoda's new 2-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster. Note the 'Skoda' lettering on the side of the instrument binnacle.

The Slavia is the second new model under the India 2.0 project. The car is based on the MQB A0-IN platform that is shared with the Kushaq.

The Slavia will be offered with two engine options. These include a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 113 BHP and 178 Nm and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor producing 148 BHP and 250 Nm. A 6-speed manual transmission will be offered as standard with both engines. The former will get a 6-speed automatic option, while a 7-speed DSG will be available with the 1.5L engine.
