Skoda Kylaq owner shares his impressions of the car after a long drive

Did my first long drive in Kylaq Prestige AT 500 KM combined. Here are my observations:

BHPian nimbus1 recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

1) You can set up to 150 Kmph in cruise control, I was on the Del-Mum exp way so could try it and OfCourse did not go beyond that

2) At high speeds the car stays super stable, reason is a well-tuned steering wheel which weighs up really well to give you that stable feel (I can vouch for the engineering given that steering of my Hector becomes light above 120 and wont inspire confidence)

3) The suspension is very good, it just gobbles up the potholes

4) AC at 38 degrees works well, you will not feel a thing. I went to Jaipur and did not feel any discomfort inside the cabin

5) Something about the fit and finish of the car gives you lot of confidence while driving

6) Horn is punny, my service center guy called and informed that trumpet horn is now available but has some battery drain issue so not sure if they are fitting it or not

7) Good brakes, car stops without any drama

8) AC gets bit noisy at higher fan speed and has the quirk of starting in fresh air mode when you power on the car

9) Noticed that there is a deep pocket inside the bottle holder for both front driver and passenger

10) The wireless charger is of no use if you have i-phone with a camera bump

11) Speed masking ability of car is very good, 70-80 kmph you will not realize at all

12) Rear passengers gets a bit bumped around but okay in general
