Skoda has teased the Kushaq in the video announcing the car's date of unveiling. The car is scheduled to be unveiled on March 18, 2021.

The teaser shows the SUV's L-shaped DRLs. You can also see parts of the grille, which could get a silver or chrome border. Another teaser on Skoda's website shows the side profile of the car, revealing the roof rails.

The Skoda Kushaq will be based on the MQB A0 IN platform, which is also shared with the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun. On the inside, the crossover will be equipped with a touchscreen infotainment head-unit, automatic climate control, cruise control and rain and light sensors. Safety features like 6 airbags, ESC, Hill-Hold Control and tyre pressure monitoring system will also be on offer.

In India, the Kushaq will be offered with two turbo-petrol engines. These include a 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI, while transmission options will include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and 7-speed DSG.
