Skoda will unveil the ENYAQ iV on September 1, 2020. The event will be live streamed at this link.
Earlier this month, Skoda had released some digital renderings of the Enyaq iV electric SUV. The SUV borrows design cues from the Scala, Kamiq and the fourth-generation Octavia. It features the Skoda family look with a large blanked-out grille and twin-pod LED headlamps. At the rear, the SUV gets V-shaped LED tail lights with Skoda lettering in the centre.
The Enyaq iV is based on the VW Group's MEB platform. To save space, the batteries are located in the floor. It will be offered with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and with three battery capacities and five performance versions. Power outputs will range from 146 BHP to 261 BHP while the battery capacities will be between 55 - 82 kWh. A range-topping RS version will also be offered with all-wheel drive and an output of 302 BHP. It has a claimed 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 180 km/h.
