Ola S1 Gen 3 electric scooter deliveries commence

Ola Electric has commenced deliveries of the latest Gen 3 iteration of the S1 e-scooter.

The Ola S1 Gen 3 was launched in January this year. It comes in four variants: S1 X, S1 X+, S1 Pro and S1 Pro+, with prices starting at Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom).

Ola has made several changes to the S1 electric scooter as part of the Gen 3 updates. It gets a new brake-by-wire system with ABS, while lower variants now have a mid-drive motor.

The entry-level Ola S1 X is available with three battery options: 2 kWh, 3 kWh and 4 kWh, offering 108 km, 176 km and 242 km of range, respectively.

The new Ola S1 Pro Gen 3 is available with three battery options: 3 kWh, 4 kWh and 5.3 kWh, offering a range of 176 km, 242 km and 320 km, respectively.

The S1 Pro+ 5.3 kWh version uses a 13 kW electric motor. It is capable of sprinting from 0-40 km/h in 2.1 seconds and has a top speed of 141 km/h.
