The interiors of the upcoming Tata Kite (Glade) hatchback have been spotted once again. The new spy image suggests that the car gets black interiors and an infotainment system similar to that of the Zest and Bolt. While the image is not clear, the large screen of the system suggests that it could be the Harman-developed touchscreen unit that is seen on the top-end (XT) variants of the Kite's bigger siblings. This system has an SD Card, Bluetooth, USB and Aux-in connectivity.

Other features include a three-spoke, multifunction steering wheel (borrowed from the Zest / Bolt) and new air-conditioner vents. According to the spotter, the car's air-conditioner control knobs are similar to those on the Indica. A previous spy image had revealed that the car gets electrically adjustable door mirrors and light and indicator stalks and gear knob borrowed from the Zest and Bolt.

The Kite is expected to use Tata's new design language. It will have a smiling front fascia with a honeycomb mesh grille, bulging headlights, an air dam with a black horizontal slat running across it and front fog lamps. At the rear of the car is a pair of tail lamps in place of the Christmas tree units, a roof-mounted rear spoiler, a number plate mounted on the bumper and a fog lamp. A compact sedan version of the car has also being doing test runs.

The engine line-up for the Kite is likely to include a new 1.05-litre, 3-cylinder, common rail diesel and a 1.2-litre petrol unit. LPG, CNG and AMT or e-clutch-equipped variants could be on the cards as well.
