Scoop! Tata builds an electric Nexon

Tata Motors has built three Nexon electric vehicles (EVs) as part of a production test run. The car seen in the image is said to be an all-electric version of the Nexon. It looks identical to the standard car and has no EV markings. It does not appear to have a radiator, which indicates that it isn't a hybrid. Technical details about the Nexon EV are unknown.

Meanwhile, Tata is reportedly planning to launch more EVs in the sub-Rs. 15 lakh segment, which could include the Tiago EV, Altroz EV and an electric car based on the H2X compact SUV. The latest image suggests that Tata might also be considering a Nexon EV for its future line up.
