The Ford EcoSport facelift has been spotted again. Until recently, the test mules were seen sporting heavy camouflage. Now, we have obtained images that reveal the front fascia in detail.

The mid-life update primarily focuses on the aesthetics and the in-car tech and features. Styling is based on Ford's latest design direction. The old twin-grille front end has been replaced with a new hexagonal grille with chrome highlights. The shape of the headlamps has been revised and they now come equipped with projectors and LED daytime-running lights. The new bumper houses a set of fog lamps positioned under the main headlamp cluster. A silver scuff plate has been integrated into the lower part of the bumper.

Minor design changes are expected to be made to the rear-end styling. Moreover, the facelift version is expected to retain the tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

BHPian Vish_Janu shares the following information:

The EcoSport facelift will be available with a new 'Dragon' 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine producing around 123-128 BHP. The automatic version is rumoured to get paddle-shifters.

Changes are expected to be made to the interior and would include an 8-inch SYNC 3 infotainment system. The system supports voice recognition, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well.
