Rumour: Tata Nexon EV to get range & performance boost

According to a media report, Tata Motors is working on an update for the Nexon EV, which could boost its range and performance.

It has been reported that Tata's Ziptron EV technology that powers the Nexon EV will continue to evolve with advancements in battery technologies. These updates are expected to improve performance and maximum range of the batteries.

At present, the Nexon EV comes with a 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery that powers an electric motor which has an output of 127 BHP and 245 Nm. It has an ARAI-certified maximum range of over 312 km on a single charge (MIDC cycle).
