Rumour: Suzuki to launch Swish facelift this month

Suzuki Motorcycle India is rumoured to be gearing up to launch an updated version of the Swish 125 cc scooter this month. The Swish has been a slow-seller in the market. Suzuki will be hoping that the updates will make it more appealing to customers.

The refreshed Swish is expected to get features such as alloy wheels, front disc brake, digital instrument console, and tubeless tyres. The Swish is also expected to get a mild styling update to make it more appealing to the youth.

The facelifted Swish is expected to use the same engine as the current model - a 124 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled unit, producing 8.58 bhp @ 7000 rpm and 9.8 Nm of torque @ 5000 rpm and mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

With the addition of the new features, the updated Swish is expected to be priced higher than the current model.
