Rumour: Skoda Slavia to be unveiled in November 2021

The Skoda Slavia will be the second model under the India 2.0 project, after the Kushaq.

Earlier this month, Skoda released a teaser of the Slavia mid-size sedan on its website. Now, according to a media report, the car is likely to be unveiled in the second half of next month.

The Skoda Slavia will be the second model under the India 2.0 project, after the Kushaq. It will be based on the MQB A0 IN platform and is said to be slightly larger than the Rapid.

The Slavia could also use the same engines as the Kushaq. These include a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 114 BHP and 175 Nm and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor packing 148 BHP and 250 Nm. Transmission options might include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and a 7-speed DSG.

The Skoda Slavia is expected to go on sale in India in early 2022.
