Rumour: New Toyota Land Cruiser to debut by end of May 2021

The new Toyota Land Cruiser is rumoured to be offered in three variants, including a GR Sport trim.

The new (2022) Toyota Land Cruiser has been spied on multiple occasions revealing a number of details. Now, a fresh document has leaked online indicating the debut date of the SUV.

If the leaked document is to be believed, the 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser will have its global unveil by the end of May 2021. Apart from the debut date, the document also reveals that Toyota could introduce the Land Cruiser in three variants, including a GR Sport trim.

The Land Cruiser will be offered in GX-R, GR-S and ZX trims. All trims of the new Toyota Land Cruiser will come with a host of features, both inside and out. This includes LED headlamps with LED DRLs, plenty of chrome elements all around, large 20-inch alloy wheels on the ZR trim and LED tail lights at the rear.

Inside, the new Land Cruiser will come with premium leather upholstery with wood inserts, rear-seat entertainment with dual 11.6-inch touchscreens, four-zone climate control, heads-up display, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and plenty others.

The powertrain on the 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser is yet to be revealed. However, as per the leaked documents, the SUV will be offered in both petrol and diesel engines.
