Rumour: Kawasaki Ninja 1000 BS6 to cost Rs. 10.79 lakh

According to a media report, the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 BS6 is likely to be priced at Rs. 10.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Ninja 1000 is expected to be powered by a BS6-compliant 1,043cc, 4-cylinder engine that delivers 140 BHP and 111 Nm @ 8,000 rpm and will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The bike comes with features such as cruise control, traction control, high and low power modes, a bi-directional quickshifter and a new exhaust which is said to be 2 kg lighter than before.

The bike features 41 mm upside down fork suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The brake setup consists of dual 300 discs at the front and a single 250 mm disc brake at the rear.
