Rumour: Hyundai Venue 1.5L Diesel priced from Rs. 8.09 lakh

According to a media report, the prices for the Hyundai Venue 1.5-litre BS6 diesel are said to start at Rs. 8.09 lakh (ex-showroom) and dealerships have reportedly started accepting bookings.

The new engine replaces the BS4 compliant 1.4-litre diesel unit. It is the same 1.5-litre unit that powers the Kia Seltos, except that in the Venue, it does not get a Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT). It is also expected to have a slightly lower output than the one in the Seltos, which makes 113 BHP and 250 Nm and comes paired with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission.
