The Honda HR-V has been displayed to dealers in Delhi. It is expected to go into production later this year.

The HR-V is positioned below the CR-V in Honda's line up. It features a chrome grille flanked by sweptback LED headlamps with L-shaped LED daytime running lights. The SUV has a coupe like roofline and L-shaped wraparound tail lights. The door handles for the rear doors are positioned on the C-pillars.

The HR-V gets a dual-tone interior with a touchscreen infotainment system, 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a 3-dial instrument cluster.

In the international market, Honda offers the HR-V with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 128 BHP and 155 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

In India, the Honda HR-V could compete with the Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks and Renault Captur.
