2022 Honda HR-V teased ahead of April 4 unveil

Honda is also yet to announce the powertrain options for the new HR-V.

Honda has released the official teaser image for its all-new HR-V crossover in the USA. The new teaser image showcases the smoked LED tail lights of the crossover, along with the 'HR-V' badging on the boot lid. Along with the release of the teaser image, Honda has also announced that the new crossover will be globally unveiled on April 4, 2022.

Apart from the single teaser image and the unveil date, no other details have been revealed. Honda had previously unveiled design sketches of the upcoming crossover, which showcased the large octagonal grille up front, flanked on either side by sleek LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs and turn indicators. The interiors of the new Honda HR-V are yet to be unveiled.

Honda is also yet to announce the powertrain options for the new HR-V. Although, the crossover is expected to carry forward the same 1.5-litre unit from the American-spec Civic sedan.
