Rumour: Honda Activa 6G to get Bluetooth connectivity

The report states that the Activa 6G is set to get a digital instrument console.

According to a media report, Honda is working on a new variant of the Activa 6G with extra tech.

The report states that the Activa 6G is set to get an updated instrument console. The old analogue unit will be replaced with a digital cluster. It will offer features like Bluetooth connectivity, call / SMS alerts and phone battery status.

Honda’s most popular scooter has received incremental updates over the years. Earlier this year, the company introduced the Activa 6G H-Smart, equipped with the Honda Smart Key for keyless operation. However, it still lacks some features that are offered by rivals, i.e. Turn-by-Turn Navigation and front disc brake.

The new variant of the Activa 6G is expected to be powered by the same 109.51cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 7.7 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 8.90 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. The engine is equipped with a 'silent start system' and 'side stand with engine inhibitor'.
