Rumour: Ford EcoSport facelift launch on November 9, 2017

The Ford EcoSport facelift was expected to be launched during the festive season. However, a media report suggests that the launch has been postponed to November 9, 2017.

The new EcoSport will get revised exterior and interior styling. The front fascia has been redesigned to accommodate a new grille and headlights, while the new front bumper houses restyled fog lamps. The interiors have also been redone on the facelift. The new dashboard now incorporates an 8.0-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system in the centre among other changes.

As recent spy images have indicated, the new Ford EcoSport will also be available in the Titanium S variant which gets cosmetic updates like dark grey trim on the grille, smoked headlights, blacked-out roof panel, roof rails and rear spoiler as well as 5-spoke alloy wheels finished in grey.

Under the skin, the EcoSport facelift gets a brand-new 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder Dragon Series petrol engine which produces 121 BHP and 150 Nm of peak torque. A diesel engine option will also be available at launch.
