BMW Motorrad may have discontinued the G 310 R and G 310 GS models in India. According to a recent report, dealer dispatches have dried up since January, and there is no inventory with dealerships across India.
It is said that the G 310 R and G 310 GS have reached the end of their lifecycle, and BMW is unlikely to upgrade them to the latest OBD-2B emission regulations. The G 310 RR is still available, though.
Reports suggest that the upcoming F 450 GS will replace the G 310 GS as the entry-level adventure bike in BMW Motorrad’s portfolio. The ADV is powered by an all-new twin-cylinder engine producing 47 BHP. It is expected to be launched in India by the end of this year.
That being said, TVS will continue to sell 310cc models in India. The company is also set to launch an ADV based on the new RTX-D4 300cc engine.
