According to a media report, Audi is likely to launch the e-tron electric SUV in India by the end of this year.
The Audi e-tron was unveiled in September 2018. The SUV has a reshaped Audi grille flanked by L-shaped headlamps. The rear features wraparound LED tail lamps and a light bar. It is available with 20 / 21-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the e-tron gets a 4-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster. It has separate touchscreens for the infotainment system and climate controls.
The Audi e-tron is powered by two electric motors - one on each axle. The electric motor at the front has an output of 168 BHP and 247 Nm of torque, while the one at the rear puts out 188 BHP and 314 Nm of torque. Therefore, the combined power output is 355 BHP and 561 Nm. In S mode, the power output is boosted to 402 BHP and 664 Nm for 8 seconds.
The Audi e-tron uses a 95 kWh battery pack that is claimed to offer a maximum range of 400 km (on WLTP cycle) on a single charge. It can be recharged to 80% capacity within 30 minutes using a DC fast-charger.
