The Maruti Suzuki XL6 was introduced in the market as a premium alternative to the Ertiga. At the moment, the MPV comes with a 6-seat layout but soon, Maruti might offer a 7-seater variant as well.
According to a media report, Maruti could introduce a 7-seat option in the XL6 facelift. It will get a bench seat in the second row, replacing the captain seats. Having said that, the 7-seater XL6 is expected to get a more premium interior and a slightly revised exterior styling.
At present, the XL6 is offered with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 103 BHP and 138 Nm. The engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
