Royal Enfield has confirmed the launch timeline for its first electric bike under the Flying Flea sub-brand. The company has said that the C6 e-bike will be rolled out sometime between January and March 2026. It will be followed by the S6.
B Govindarajan, CEO of Royal Enfield, said, “Both these products are very different and they are going to come in Q4 FY25-26. It (Flying Flea) is only a starting point, as it can lend itself to the various form factors which we will keep looking at.”
Govindarajan stated that the company is still evaluating whether to set up exclusive stores, adopt a direct-to-customer model, or continue with the existing retail setup. What’s confirmed, though, is that Flying Flea will not be established as a separate subsidiary or business unit.
The Flying Flea C6 made its global debut at EICMA 2024. Last month, a test mule was seen on Indian roads for the first time. It has a retro design with a girder-style front fork, circular headlamp, a teardrop-shaped faux fuel tank, and a single seat. Technical details haven’t been revealed yet.
