Refreshed Yamaha FZ 25 teaser out

Yamaha has released a teaser image of the updated FZ 25 on its Facebook page. The bike's launch is rumoured to be scheduled for May 2020.

The refreshed FZ 25 features a redesigned headlamp featuring a bi-LED projector light and digital instrument cluster. The bike also gets a new engine cowl as well as a side-stand engine cut-off system. The bike is expected to be offered in two new colour options - Metallic Black and Racing Blue.

The bike will also come in an FZS 25 variant, which comes equipped with a larger windscreen and knuckle guards. This variant is expected to be offered in three colour options - Dark Cyan, Dark Matte Blue and Metallic White.

The new FZ 25 is powered by a BS6-compliant 249cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.5 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 20.1 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. It gets disc brakes at the front and rear and is likely to come with dual-channel ABS.
