Rebuilding my Yamaha RZ 350: The Journey, Parts and Final Reveal

Waiting for its first long ride and the big reveal to the family who have no idea its already parked down

BHPian SnS_12 recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

It’s a wrap (99.9%)

A journey which began in May the buying part and then the second journey of rebuilding the RZ 350 which started in September when the bikes were moved to my friends place. These past few months have really been a challenging but fun rebuild. Researching and sourcing of parts has been the biggest challenge as this is the first time ever that I have rebuilt a bike to the exact factory spec both cosmetically and mechanically. The final missing bits the plastic cover for the horn bracket and the chain guard arrived few days back and were sourced via Eddie. I got them shipped directly to India and this time got charged customs as well. But, this is what happens with such rebuilds where no matter how much you plan you still end up ordering more parts. Now, the only part left to go on the bike is the rear grab rail, which should hopefully be carried back to Mumbai next month.

Believe it or not the amount the RZ has costed me to buy and do it up is enough to buy me two EVO’s and a R15
