Range Rover will donate a portion of proceeds from each vehicle sale to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India.

JLR India has launched the Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition. The limited-edition luxury SUV is priced at Rs 4.98 crore. Only 12 units will be built.

According to JLR, the Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition draws inspiration from “the character of the tiger in its natural habitat." The SUV features a bespoke deep black exterior with a red shimmering effect and Corinthian Bronze and Anthracite accents. It rides on 23-inch forged dark grey alloy wheels that have Corinthian Bronze inserts.

Inside, the Ranthambore Edition features a combination of Caraway and light Perlino semi-aniline leather with contrast stitching and a unique motif of the stripes on the spine of the tiger embroidered on the seats. Other details include customised scatter cushions, noble chrome jewellery finishes, light linear wenge veneers and white ceramic dials.

The Ranthambore Edition is based on the long-wheelbase version of the Range Rover. It is equipped with reclining seats, a powered club table, deployable cupholders, and a refrigerator with SV-etched glassware.

The Range Rover Ranthambore Edition is powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that produces 394 BHP and 550 Nm.

Range Rover will donate a portion of proceeds from each vehicle sale to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India.
