A test mule of what appears to be a production-ready Tata Gravitas has been spotted on the outskirts of Bangalore.

The Tata Gravitas is the 7-seater version of the Harrier. The spotter reports that the road presence of the Gravitas is said to be comparable to the Ford Endeavour and that there is ample space for the third row passengers.

The Gravitas and Harrier have a similar front fascia. Slim LED daytime running lights are placed at the top, while the headlamps are mounted on the front bumper. The test car has 5-spoke alloy wheels, similar to the Harrier along with roof rails and a roof spoiler. The rear windshield is more upright in order to make space for the third of row of seats. The car is also equipped with disc brakes all-round.

The Gravitas is likely to be offered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 170 BHP and 350 Nm of torque. Transmission options could include a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.
