Porsche Boxster & Cayman production to end in 2025

The Boxster and the Cayman models have been on sale since 1996.

According to media reports, Porsche is all set to end production of its 718 Boxster & Cayman models soon.

The reports state that the ICE-powered versions of both the Cayman & Boxster will go out of production sometime in 2025. Porsche though will replace both sports cars with their respective electric-powered models. As per a leaked image, the petrol-powered Porsche Boxster & Cayman will end their production run in October 2025 - with their all-electric replacements expected to arrive by end-2025 or in 2026.

The upcoming all-electric versions of the sports cars though are expected to concentrate on offering good driving dynamics, despite the added weight from the electric powertrain.

The Boxster and the Cayman models have been on sale since 1996. They are positioned below the brand's flagship 911 range.
