Philippines is the 2nd-largest market for Toyota Land Cruiser

The Land Cruiser's biggest market though remains the Middle East.

According to reports, the Philippines is the second largest market for Toyota's flagship SUV, the Land Cruiser LC300.

Reports state that the country's allotment is 150 - 200 units per month. In the Philippines, the SUV is priced at P5,747,000 (approx Rs 89 lakh) for the Land Cruiser 'ZX' variant. Also, Toyota Motor Philippines stands to make P1 billion (Rs 1.44 billion) a month in sales from the Land Cruiser alone.

To reiterate, the new Land Cruiser comes with two engine options, including a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine, producing 409 BHP and 650 Nm and a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel engine churning out 304.5 BHP and 700 Nm. Both engines come paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission unit.
