Petrol and diesel prices raised

On March 1, the price of petrol was slashed 3.02 per litre, while the price of diesel was raised by Rs. 1.47 per litre. Now, the prices of both petrol and diesel have been raised. While the price of petrol has been raised by Rs. 3.07 per litre, diesel prices are up by Rs. 1.90 per litre.

Fuel prices are increased or decreased every fortnight depending on the prevailing international crude oil rates and the Rupee - US Dollar exchange rate.

In Delhi, petrol now costs Rs. 59.68 per litre, while diesel is priced at Rs. 48.33 per litre.
