Our best look at the 3rd-gen Hyundai i20

New images of the third generation Hyundai i20 have surfaced online. The car was spotted on the streets of South Korea.

The new i20, seen here in a shade of white, has a gloss black grille. It has trapezoidal sweptback headlamp clusters with V-shaped LED daytime running lights. The front bumper has a slim air dam and triangular fog lamp pods on either side.

At the rear, the new i20 gets wraparound tail lights with a reflector strip connecting the two tail lamp clusters. It has a dual-tone rear bumper and gloss black trim under the rear windshield. The car also has chrome trim along the lower edge of the windows, shark fin antenna and dual-tone alloy wheels.

In the international market, the new i20 will be available with four petrol engine options. These include a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder engine producing 83 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 118 Nm @ 4,000 rpm, a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged engine with 99 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm @ 1,500 rpm and a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder with a 48V mild hybrid system that comes in two states of tune - 99 BHP / 172 Nm and 118 BHP / 200 Nm. Transmission options include 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
