FASTags for cars, jeeps and vans can now be purchased online on Amazon.in. 

According to a media report, the online NHAI FASTags can be self-activated by entering customer and vehicle details in the My FASTag mobile app, which is available on the Android platform. The customer can then link the tag to an existing bank account. 

At present, FASTags can be linked to seven banks including SBI, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, IndusInd Bank, Paytm Payments Bank and Equitas Small Finance Bank.

FASTags can also be purchased at select petrol pumps in Delhi NCR and identified Common Service Centres (CSCs). Apart from the aforementioned channels, FASTags are issued by 22 certified banks at toll plazas and select bank branches.
