Next-gen Toyota Fortuner front fascia spied undisguised!

The Toyota Fortuner is all set to receive a complete design overhaul. After multiple camouflaged spy shots, the car-parazzi has snapped the front fascia of the next generation Fortuner sans camouflage.

If this is what the final production version will look like, the first thing to take away is that the SUV won't look like the new Hilux pick-up truck, as some media reports speculated. The front fascia features a radical refresh and features slim-cut, swept back projector headlamps garnished with chrome to the side, a smaller, but beefed up 2-slat chrome grille with flanks that merge with the headlamps, a redesigned front bumper that curves inward, a 3-slat black air dam and round fog lamps with thick - brushed aluminium finish housings.

Evidently, the look is entirely new and going by popular renders, the rear end will feature sleek tail lights as well. Toyota may reveal the new Fortuner towards the end of this year.n Given the SUVs segment dominating popularity and the looming threat of the new Ford Endeavour, the Indian market should see the new Fortuner arrive shortly after the International debut.
