Next-gen Mercedes-Benz E-Class coupe spied

Mercedes-Benz recently gave us a close look at the interior of the new E-Class. As spy shots of the sedan's exterior get increasingly descriptive with the camouflage getting slimmer, the carparazzi has just spotted the E-Class coupe on test.

Like its sedan counterpart, the E-Class coupe follows the design footsteps of the S-Class coupe and C-Class. The test mule features door mounted wing mirrors, a low flowing roofline with a sharply raked windscreen, a long bonnet and a stout boot (most likely with a lip spoiler). The interior and engine options will be shared with the new E-Class sedan.

The E-Class sedan is expected to make its public debut at the Detroit motor show in January 2016. The sedan will be joined by a wagon, with the coupe and convertible expected in late 2016 or early 2017.
