New Bajaj Avenger - more images

Earlier this month, spy images of the new Bajaj Avenger motorcycle had surface on the internet. The images showed the Avenger in two variants - Cruise and Street. Now, the bikes have been spotted once again and the new images give us some additional information about them.

There were rumours that Bajaj could use the 200cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine from the Pulsar 200NS to power the Avenger. However, in the new images, both bikes have stickers that suggest that they will be powered by the engine as the current Avenger - a 219.89cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled unit with an oil cooler that puts out 19.03 BHP @ 8,400 rpm and 17.5 Nm of torque @ 7,000 rpm.

While the Cruise comes with lots of chrome bits, glossy paint, new graphics, spoked wheels, a large windshield and a cushioned backrest for the pillion, the Street is finished matte black paint job, alloy wheels no windshield and a grab rail at the rear.
