myChevrolet India, smartphone application from GM India

General Motors India has launched a smartphone application called ‘myChevrolet India’ for its customers. The application is said to feature tools, which will aid customers, post the purchase of their vehicles.

Using myChevrolet India, owners can contact the company and schedule a service appointment at your preferred dealer, whose information is stored by the application. In case a customer is on the road, the application will locate and contact the nearest dealer, using the touch-to-call feature.

The application has a parking reminder, which lets a customer store parking details by taking pictures and making notes. In case the customer forgets where he has parked his car, application uses the stored information and guides him back to his car assisted by Google Maps.

Additionally, myChevrolet India also provides the customer with a complete owner’s manual of his car. The application is available free of cost on Android and iOS platforms and can be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
