My Yamaha RZ 350 is back to full OE spec after a successful restoration

We also changed the spark plugs on all the two strokes to Iridium plugs.

BHPian SnS_12 recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

Last missing part goes on the RZ and the bike is now 100% back to OE spec

The grab rail was stuck in UK for the past few months as neither I or anyone else I know off was traveling to UK. So, my last hope was Tony’s son was supposed to visit UK and arrive in India mid May so that finally happened and we could fit the grab rail on the bike and the bike now looks complete. This was a slow and painful process of putting back the RZ back to OE spec and finding each missing parts was a challenge but luckily I had the right people around to guide me and in the end the final outcome speaks for itself.

We also changed the spark plugs on all the two strokes to Iridium plugs and the final bike to get it was the Daytona. Also, changed the oil on the Daytona as it was last changed around August last year.

Unfortunately, monsoons have arrived early this time around and I don’t know when I can squeeze in one last ride on all the bikes before they go into their periodic monsoon hibernation.

Some pictures…

The front mount on the exhaust of the RX had snapped off. So it was taken out to be welded back on.

Some hard riding by me the last time around made the joint giveaway for good

Back on

Good to go

Time to get the RZ 100% cosmetically done

A very big RX?
