Third Service & Near Miss Accident Update

Third Service

My 3rd Service was due in Nov'23, but my dealer had billed my vehicle internally in Oct'22 itself hence I started receiving pesky calls about service from all nearby Dealers.

I ODO reading was less, plus my replacement parts were still awaited and hence went for Service in Jan'24

Since there was no issue of Left Right Pull or so in my vehicle I said no to Wheel Alignment and rotation and, the rest all standard stuff of 3rd Service.

Windscreen Washer Fluid I always refuse (even if it is INR40)

DEF I again refused, it is way cheaper outside at Indian Oil Pump.

Entered Service station at 12 PM exited at 7:30 PM

• 12:25 PM - Job Card Created - which also showcased a BCM update R19 is the latest I think
• 2:45 PM - Bay Assigned
• 03:00 PM - 3rd Service work started

Additionally, I inquired about replacement parts, They are still nowhere to be seen. Part No. Mismatch for Driver Side Seat. This time again they took out the seat made its video and then seemingly tried to show as if they were trying to get something done and action would be seen on this soon - to which I have little hope. The best part is every time I come new Service Incharge engineer is assigned who needs to listen to the whole story again, then next person comes to whom I have to explain again, and then his manager who wants to listen to me the complete scenario again.

I also pointed out that since 1st Service 1 Clip of the fender flare is not properly installed which I had highlighted earlier also and it was not done. Same was the case for Door Buffer rubbers which are conical in shape. --> Both items were not attended too.

While I was at service there was one Safari Top Model 2023 Model which had a Head Unit issue for which its Silverbox and screen were removed. I did not like the no Touch button layout of the phygital Buttons. The Dash looks Bland , and lacks character, could be that I am old school and newer generations like this look.

I finally got the vehicle by around 07:30 PM with 10k invoice
