New images of the upcoming Maruti Ciaz facelift have surfaced online, giving us a better look at all the updates that have been made to the sedan.

The new Ciaz gets a set of redesigned headlamps with integrated LED DRLs and a new mesh grille with chrome trim along its edges. The re-profiled front bumper has a wide air dam flanked by new fog lamp pods, which have chrome surrounds. Moving to the side, the car has a chrome strip along the window line and chrome door handles. It has ORVMs with integrated turn signals and dual-tone alloy wheels in a multi-spoke design. The rear of the car looks similar to the outgoing model. However, it gets revised tail lights and chrome garnish on the boot lid. There are four rear parking sensors and the reflector strips are placed in separate pods that have chrome surrounds.

The interior of the car is finished in a dual-tone of beige and black with a faux wood trim. The 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel has chrome highlights on the spokes. Similar chrome trim can be seen around the instrument cluster and gear lever. The rear seats get adjustable headrests.

The Ciaz facelift is expected to be offered with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. The powertrain could be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Maruti is rumoured to launch a new 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel on the new Ciaz at a later date. A 6-speed manual transmission is also said to be in the works.

The Maruti Ciaz facelift is expected to be launched in August 2018.
